Enter what the flight costs in cash, the taxes on the award, and the miles it needs. We'll tell you the value you're squeezing out of each point — and whether it's worth burning them.
How to read it. Value per mile = (cash fare − award taxes) ÷ miles. It's the industry-standard yardstick: the higher the ₹/mile, the more you're extracting. MilesFirst rule of thumb for premium cabins ex-India — under 0.8 poor, 0.8–1.3 fair, 1.3–2.0 good, over 2.0 excellent. The transfer-ratio field adjusts for cards that don't transfer 1:1 (Amex MR in India is roughly 2:1 to most airlines, so each MR point is worth about half the airline-mile value). Estimates only — verify award space, taxes and transfer ratios before you book.
